Nature of the Service

This is a private reference site. It is not part of the Rutherford County Sheriff, Rutherford County government, TDOC, the Tennessee Board of Parole, a court, BOP, ICE, or any other public office. No official jail, release, court, or supervision record is stored here. We cannot confirm custody, authorize a release, post bond, file a public-record request for you, or submit court papers.

The site points to official county, Tennessee, and federal resources and may connect visitors with outside research tools. Those links and tools do not turn the site into the government office or data provider that controls the underlying information.

Acceptable Use Rules

You agree to use the site responsibly and without interfering with another visitor or system. In particular, you must not:

• Violate a law, regulation, court order, or another person’s rights.
• Use any information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten.
• Rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another prohibited FCRA decision.
• Attempt to enter an account, server, database, or restricted area without authorization.
• Run automated bots, crawlers, or scrapers against the site.
• Damage, overload, disable, or disrupt access for other users.

No Consumer Reports

Rutherford County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. You agree not to use information found here or through a linked tool for:

• A decision to hire, fire, retain, or promote a person.
• Tenant selection, housing eligibility, or another residential decision.
• Creditworthiness, lending, or the price or availability of insurance.
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government program.
• Any other decision governed by the FCRA.

Outside Links and Services

Links may lead to Rutherford County release-record resources, Sheriff and corrections pages, Tennessee court portals, legal assistance, federal locators, and third-party search services. Tennessee government records may be governed by the Tennessee Public Records Act, chiefly Tenn. Code Ann. §§10-7-503 and 10-7-504, as well as specific confidentiality laws. Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rutherford County Released Inmates, its owners, operators, and partners from claims, losses, obligations, costs, and reasonable legal fees that arise from your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another party’s rights.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless a different owner is identified, site text, original graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Rutherford County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, republish, distribute, sell, alter, or create a derivative work from those materials without prior written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

We may change these terms at any time. A revised version takes effect when it is posted on this page unless the posting states a later date. Your continued use after posting means the new terms apply to that use.

Tennessee Governing Law
